Robert Lovett joins Andrew Hill Investment Advisors

Andrew Hill Investment Advisors Inc., a Naples-based investment and wealth management advisory firm, announced the appointment of Robert D. Lovett as investment advisory representative. In this newly created position, he will provide specialized investment related advice to clients of the firm.

Lovett has more than 40 years of experience in the financial sector. Previously, he served as a United States delegate to the International Standards Organization developing international practice standards for financial planning. He was a member of the Advisory Board of Swiss Enterprise, an international investment advisor in Geneva, and Advisory Board of American Equity Exchange Advisors Inc. in Naples.

In addition to his advisory services, Lovett has spent more than 25 years instructing financial professionals at several universities and colleges. He is past regional director for Florida State University, Certificate in Financial Planning Program; past director of The Institute of Financial Studies at Nova Southeastern University; and past director of the Certified Financial Planner Certification Education Programs at Florida Gulf Coast University and Barry University. Lovett is also the founder of The Astwell Institute for Financial Education, which was formed to provide educational programs for Certified Public Accountants in financial disciplines and a delivery platform for the Personal Financial Specialists (PFS) for CPAs practicing in financial consultation.

Lovett has earned a doctorate in business administration, accounting, at Nova Southeastern University, and a master’s of ccience, taxation at Seton Hall University. He completed his undergraduate studies at Northeastern University in Boston. Dr. Lovett is a member of the Academy of Financial Services, the Academy of Finance, and Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society for Business, Management, and Administration.
